Small change, huge gains. That is the mantra behind this deceptively simple yet wildly effective grip-strength protocol: 100 seconds of hanging every day. The end goal is to hold on longer to unlock your full athletic potential.
Grip strength is the unsung hero of performance. Whether you're chasing muscle-ups, deadlifts, or explosive push-ups, your grip is the gatekeeper to progress. Here’s what happens when it levels up:
Pull-ups and deadlifts feel lighter: Your hands stop being the bottleneck.
Target muscles fail before your grip: You push deeper into hypertrophy territory.
Every movement gets sharper: From rows to presses, your control skyrockets.
Chris breaks this down with the following routine that can transform your training and even your posture. To follow along, all you need is:
A safe bar to hang from.
The THENX app (available on AppStore and Google Play if you haven’t already downloaded it.)
100 seconds of your time
He targets five hanging variations, each for 20 seconds with a 20-second rest between sets:
1. Neutral Grip Hang: Build baseline endurance and decompress your spine. Activate forearms and stabilize shoulders.
2. Swing Side-to-Side Hang: Improve dynamic control and core engagement.
3. Scapula Shrug Hang: Strengthen scapular mobility and posture
4. Wide Grip Hang: Challenge your lats and grip width tolerance.
5. Bent Arm Chin Hang: Simulate the top of a pull-up for isometric strength.
Chris’s philosophy is simple: “You’re only as strong as your weakest link.” And grip is often that link. So, let us make this work out a habit and not a hassle.
It is not a one-off challenge, see it as a lifestyle upgrade. Chris emphasizes consistency over complexity. The hang routine is scalable, beginner-friendly, and pairs perfectly with push-up progressions. If you know someone whose workouts are limited by grip fatigue, do them a favor, share this blog. It might just be the missing link in their training.

I won the lottery, and people kept asking me how I did it. Well, yes, there’s a little secret they never knew: I won the $80,000,000 jackpot with the help of Priest Alaska winning spell. He gave me the numbers to play and told me when to play, and I followed his instructions. My dear friends, getting rich is never a matter of luck; it’s something we all have to work for. There are people who have been playing the same lottery for years and have never won. We need to be on the right path to achieve what we want. I say this because I want the best for everyone. You can’t just win the lottery; you have to know exactly what to do, what to play, and when to play. This is a truth no one will tell you. If you want to win big, I advise you to talk to Priest Alaska and let him guide you on what to do and how to do it with his lottery spell. You can try it. To learn more about Priest Alaska’s services, Email: alaskaspellcaster44@gmail.com or visit: Website: https://dralaskaspellcaster.mystrikingly.com
I had tried several times before and, unfortunately, encountered people who took advantage of me, leaving me disappointed and discouraged. When I learned about Priest Alaska, I decided to contact him and share my situation. For the first time, I felt truly heard and treated with understanding. I decided to take a chance after receiving guidance from Priest Alaska; at the time, I never imagined how much my life would change. I longed for a major financial breakthrough, so I chose to remain hopeful and follow the advice I received. When I finally discovered that I had won $80 million in the lottery, I was completely stunned and overwhelmed with emotion. It was a moment I will never forget. The news brought immense happiness to my family and me, opening the door to opportunities I had previously only dreamed of. I am deeply grateful for the encouragement and guidance I received during that time. After enduring so many prior disappointments, I am simply happy to find myself in a much better situation today. Thank you, Priest Alaska, for the support and guidance you provided throughout this journey. If you are interested in receiving spiritual guidance regarding your hopes and goals, you can contact Priest Alaska to request his services.
