Men VS Women | Who Trains HARDER?

 What does it mean to train hard? SImply put, it is when you push your threshold or limit the farthest you can. This can be through lifting heavy, running faster or father, decreasing the amount of rest, increasing your tempo, increasing your reps, and/or even using a greater range of motion. In viewing this spread, now it begs the question- who trains harder, men or women? Join Chris Heria as he takes MIami Beach, in search of an answer to this question. 

Both men and women build muscle using the same process, through progressive overload and hypertrophy. In the broad genetic sense, men have larger frames and have higher testosterone counts, allowing for greater muscle mass to be put on. On average, men will be stronger than women, granted there are outliers. With this in mind, women in top performing sports train harder than male counterparts to achieve a certain goal. Regardless of being a man or a woman, a good portion of training is mental. Male or female, training knows no gender, as both are capable of training as hard as each other.
