How To Lose Weight and Burn Fat.
There are thousands, if not millions of ways to lose weight.
Sometimes they work, sometimes they don’t.
Some will work for you and not for me while others will work for me and not for you.
Some will make you loose water weight or muscle, others will make you lose body fat.
And trust me, I can keep going for days on end.
Loosing weight has become the most searchable topic on the internet. With more than two billion people in the world diagnosed with obesity, it’s not hard to see why this is.
But with so many diets and programs out there, how is this even possible?
Well, if we only take into account the people that actually want to loose weight and not the lazy rest (And of course, not counting the people with serious medical conditions), we can come to several reasons why dropping a few pounds has become extremely difficult nowadays.
Lets take a look at some reasons why people are not successfully losing weight.
1. Abundance of information.
With so many nutritional advices out there how can you know which to follow?
Most of the time, you don’t. Often leading to jump between one program to another and not sticking to one single plan.
They might all work, but if you try to combine them or do a different one every day, they might not.
DO THIS INSTEAD: Choose one nutrition protocol or workout program and follow it without looking else where. Track your progress. If it works for you, keep doing it. If not, do something else.
The best diet is going to be the one you can stick the longest.
There is no point in following something (even if it works) if you are going to drop the ball after a couple days.
DO THIS INSTEAD: Choose one nutrition protocol or workout program that you enjoy. Do not see it as a quick fix but as a lifetime change instead. Ask yourself: Can I do this for the rest of my life?
3. Cover the basics.
You will not loose weight if you don’t follow a couple simple physics laws.
Nutrition can get complex but it can also be made simple.
Don’t overcomplicate it.
DO THIS INSTEAD: Just make sure these three things are in place:
- Move. Nothing crazy. Start with walking for 30 minutes every day.
- Eat right. Stop the sugar, sodas, bread, alcohol and everything that we are not meant to eat. Eat real food instead.
- Rest. Get good quality sleep. Let your body repair and recharge so you it can function optimally the following day.
That ‘s in a nutshell.
Obviously there is a lot more to consider when it comes to fat loss.
We are all different and we need to tailor things to our specific needs.
However, most of the time if you just follow some simple rules, you will be burning fat.
